I can’t believe that I was stupid enough to do it. I was in Grade three at Chief Dan George when
this event happened. It was about the middle of March when one of my classmate’s Dad dared
some of my friends and I to pull some small pranks at school. Of course not any that would
really hurt anyone. We the immature little runts we were agreed to the challenge no just
because we were bored but that he would give twenty dollars to whoever did the best prank.
The prank that I did was to put hot sauce in the coffee in the staff lounge. I thought this would
be an easy prank because I thought I knew the routine of most of the teachers. When my class
was on its way to the computer lab and as we went by the staff room I went in and dumped a
small bottle of Tabasco sauce into the coffee and quickly got out to make sure that no one saw
me. The disappointing part of this prank is that only two teachers had a cup of my special coffee,
and I think one of them seemed to like it. In the end I was never caught for doing it. Of course
my prank wasn’t near being the best. My friend Jay’s prank was to put glue on the toilet seat,
Mrs. Downes, my teacher from the previous year, let out the loudest scream that sounded like
the worst singer who was trying to sing the highest note . Luckily for her, the glue hadn’t set
long enough and he was eventually caught because some one told on him. In all, there were
other good pranks but Jay won the twenty dollars.
